Faith Brings Rewards!

God honors our faith (our trust) in Him in various ways. Here on earth, true faith can rest, relieve stress, and be strengthened. This is the reward of those that believe I Peter 5:7. It says: “Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” We also have a completely reliable and competent Guide to show us how to have an abundant life. Psalm 37:5 reminds us: “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him, and He shall bring (it) to pass.” He will walk you all the way through life. He will give you ways to minister, filling your life with purpose. You will reach your eternal destination with joy. “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (I Corinthians 15:58). In fact, trusting leads to an inheritance that far transcends anything this world has to offer! Peter, in I Peter 1:4, tells us that our faith brings us: “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you…. “ When we truly trust, we find: “Sometimes our skies are cloudy and dreary, sometimes our hearts are burdened with care, but we may know, whate’er may befall us, Jesus is always there! When in the midst of life with its problems, bent with our toil and burdens we bear; wonderful thought and deep consolation: Jesus is always there! When we are walking thru the green pastures, or over mountains rugged and bare; precious the thought and sweet the assurance, Jesus is always there. “Lo, I am with you alway,” is written, God will not fail to answer our prayer; trusting His Word we rest in His promise,—Jesus is always there! Never a burden that He doth not carry, never a sorrow that He doth not share; whether the days may be sunny or dreary, Jesus is always there!” (“Jesus Is Always There”-By Bertha Mae Lillenas). Selah! When our faith (our trust) is unconditional, the rewards will always abundantly exceed the trials! “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” (Hebrews. 10:35).       Ron
