The Wonder of God!

God’s power has no limits! The atomic bomb dropped on Japan (during World War II) would not even remotely be as powerful as a firecracker, compared to God’s power. Imagine trying to lift the Empire State Building and hold it in the air. Jesus is, we are told in Hebrews 1:3, “upholding all things by the Word of His power.” The power of God holds up and holds together all of creation!! God is everywhere! (See Psalm 139). As you read this article, He is where you are; He’s in Africa, South America, England, etc. He is in outer space; He is in Heaven! Paul was inspired to state in Acts 17:28 that: “in Him we live, and move, and have our being.” God is the Author of time. He is timeless! He lives outside of time; He made time! There are no limits to His knowledge and wisdom. Of Christ it is said in Colossians 2:3, that in Him: “….are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” All the libraries and computers in the world do not even begin to equal, in availability, the knowledge and wisdom of God! They don’t even come up to the A. B. C.s of a child, as compared with the infinite knowledge and wisdom of God. And God sees everything! Hebrews 4:13 makes that clear: “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.” This is the God that loves you and me and took on humanity to endure the cross, to salvage us from the wreckage of sin! “Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade; to write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry; nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.” (“The Love of God“-By Frederick M. Lehman). Selah! This God, the true God, loves you and me! Oh, the wonder of it all!    Ron
