What A Place-2

Let me pick up where I left off yesterday: “Any sinner who will truly choose to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord, is restored to Spiritual life and will spend eternity with God in Heaven. With the perfect righteousness of Christ credited to him, he begins the remainder of his time on earth experiencing God’s sanctifying power. Sin is being overcome and God’s life is taking over his inner being. When a saved man or woman comes to the end of this earthly life,” he or she enters Heaven and is, at that moment, completely holy forever. Oh,  what a sight will be seen! What a place! Our dwelling place, the beauty, the perfection, the wonder, the music, the worship, etc. This is a place where nothing, not one single thing, is wrong, bad, ugly, corrupt, evil, disturbing, frightening, offensive, cruel, unkind, untrue, selfish, etc. There will be no more suffering, sorrow, pain, hurt, worry, fear, weakness, tiredness, death, etc. As wonderful as all of this is, the greatest wonder will be Him, Himself! “….that loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.” (From Revelation 1:5). Now note the whole sweep of God’s wonderful plan of the ages: “For whom He did for foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified” (Romans 8:29-30). Did you notice the tenses? In the mind of God, all of this is an already accomplished thing for those who truly know Him. It is a golden chain originating in eternity past and reaching into eternity future. In that wonderful hymn, “He Hideth My Soul,” no wonder fanny Crosby could write: “When clothed in His brightness transported I rise to meet Him in clouds of the sky, His perfect salvation, His wonderful love, I’ll shout with the millions on high.” Selah! Who but God could carry out a plan like this? Except for God’s love, grace and power, how could we ever be a part of that plan? Praise Him for His mercy, love and grace!!   Ron
