It Can’t Be, Can It?

Yesterday’s article is the background for today. How can God be unapproachable and yet be in us? It can’t be, can it? I see the answer in how He is in us. He dwells in us, in the Person of the Holy Spirit. Paul testified to the Corinthian Christians, in II Corinthians 4:7 that, “….we have this treasure in earthen vessels.” God accommodates Himself to work within our limitations. In Colossians 2:9, we learn that, “….in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” In 1:27, Paul gives this Truth: “….Christ in you, the hope of glory.” The fullness of the Godhead is in Christ and He is in us, in the Person of the Holy Spirit. Now, “ ….God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.” (From I John 1:5). This amazing Light that radiates from Him shines through us! This is why Paul could tell the Philippians (and us) that we live, “….in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” (From 2:15). God reveals Himself through His Word to us, and through us, to others. The more the Word is absorbed and applied, the brighter the reflection of Him beams out to lost people (and to other Christians). If we are growing in understanding and applying Scripture, “….the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (Proverbs 4:18). What a glorious privilege to reflect Him. Keep charging your light from the Source of power and keep the lens clean and free of defilement. Selah! “Deity expressed through humanity!” We who are born again are the channels through which Deity flows. Beyond amazing!   Ron
