Focusing on God-His Wisdom

Let me remind you of a very useful definition of wisdom and knowledge. Knowledge is learning to see life from God’s point-of-view. Wisdom is learning to respond to life from God’s perspective. (Grace provides God-given ability to appropriate true knowledge and wisdom).. We find out God’s thinking and ways in the Bible. As we faithfully study and meditate on Scripture, we will start to notice that God is renewing our minds and we are beginning to live life as God intended. Jesus said in John 10:10b, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." God has unlimited knowledge and wisdom. There are no boundaries for God’s mind. James reminds us that real wisdom comes from above. (James 3:17)  Colossians 2:3 tells us about God, that in Him "…are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.."  From James 1:5, we also learn that if we lack wisdom we can ask God for it and He will be liberal in giving it to us. The instrument He uses, almost exclusively, is His Word. Keep in mind that all this wealth of knowledge and wisdom is available to those who enjoy a personal relationship with Him through our Lord Jesus Christ (i.e; salvation).  Selah!  Keep this imperative constantly in the forefront of your thoughts: "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,.." Philippians 2:5        Ron

".. be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…" Romans 12:2
